In February 2002, I took my last paycheck from corporate America and followed what I believed was God’s calling for my life into full-time ministry. That was nearly 10 years ago. Since then, I’ve created both non-profit and for profit organizations, both of whose mission has been to help restore sexual integrity in the church and culture.
My organizations create awareness and educate people about the hidden dangers and long term consequences of pornography consumption and other forms of sexual exploitation. In the process, I’ve become widely recognized in the media as an expert on the subjects of pornography, sex addiction and recovery, and the sexualization of the culture. To date, my speaking events and appearances have resulted in over 100 million media impressions.
One of my great passions is to help other emerging leaders find their God-given purpose and vision for full or part-time ministry. And while I don’t believe that God calls everyone into full-time ministry, I do believe everyone has a ministry. In fact, scripture refers to the fact that we’re all called to a ministry of reconciliation, which is essentially what I’ve been doing for the past 10 years. And it’s always a joy for me to help others find God’s calling for their lives.

From Vision to Reality
I’m a big believer in sticking with what you know. That’s why we’ll start the way I began – with an intensive study of the book “Visioneering.” Only I never had anyone to walk through it with me, like you will. This book, written by Andy Stanley, Senior Pastor of my home church, North Point Community Church, had a huge impact on me. In fact, as a result of reading this book, I found myself willing to wait on God as He moved all of the pieces into place, one of which was Andy and Northpoint who eventually commissioned me and helped me fund and launch my ministry.
Following this 18 week study, I’ll work with you to help you develop your individual ministry plan, help you identify potential sources of funding, help you get incorporated and file your 501(c)(3) application so you can solicit tax deductible donations, build a Board of Directors and an Advisory Board, and developing a go-to-market start-up plan.
The minimum mentoring engagement is six months, and could go for as long as a year. But that depends on your individual needs. The cost is $450/month paid in advance and includes a weekly one hour phone-based mentoring session with Michael, intermittent email and phone support, access to pivotal documents and articles, Michael’s ministry plan template, and his personal assistance and guidance as you complete your plan.
My goal is simply to help you launch an effective ministry based on God’s will and purpose for your life. And since I only have a limited amount of time I can dedicate to one-on-one mentoring, my preference is to work with those likeminded men who feel called to create a ministry that will likewise help to restore sexual integrity to the church and culture.
